Settle in.
Let your feet touch the floor if they can. If you are lying down, feel the weight of your legs, your hips, your back.
Hold Black Tourmaline in your hand, or bring one hand to your wrist if you are wearing it.
This is a practice for the Root Chakra.
The part of you that wants to feel safe.
The part of you that says: I am here. I have a body. I have ground beneath me.
Take a slow breath in.
Exhale through the mouth.
Again. Inhale.
Exhale, and let your shoulders drop.
Imagine the sound moving down through the body. Down through the spine. Down through the hips. Down through the legs.
There is nowhere else you need to be for the next few minutes.
Bring your attention to the base of the spine.
Picture a deep red light there. Not bright. Not urgent. More like an ember.
Steady.
With each breath, the ember becomes warmer. Heavier. More rooted.
Say silently:
I return to my body.
I return to the ground.
I return to what is mine.
If fear has been moving through you, do not fight it. Let it drain downward.
Down through the hips.
Down through the legs.
Down through the feet.
Into the earth.
Black Tourmaline is often used as a stone of protection. Let it be a boundary now.
Not a wall that hardens you.
A boundary that helps you stay whole.
Imagine a dark, smooth field around your body. It does not need to be thick. It does not need to be dramatic.
It simply knows what belongs to you and what does not.
Breathe in.
On the exhale, release what is not yours to carry.
Again.
Breathe in.
Exhale: release.
Now bring your attention to the soles of your feet.
Feel the floor.
Feel the support that does not ask anything from you.
Say silently:
I am allowed to take up space.
I am allowed to have needs.
I am allowed to feel safe in my own energy.
Let the sound keep working underneath the words.
For the next minute, breathe slowly and imagine roots moving from the body into the earth.
[60 seconds instrumental space]
Begin to notice the room again.
The surface beneath you.
The air on your skin.
The crystal in your hand or on your wrist.
Choose one grounding action for today.
Drink water.
Eat something warm.
Clean one small surface.
Step outside.
Answer one practical thing you have been avoiding.
Root Chakra healing lives in the ordinary.
Take one last breath in.
Exhale slowly.
Say:
I am here.
I am grounded.
I am protected in my own field.
